In the early stages, Momento customers could access the services solely through SDKs and a CLI, while Momento engineers tested internal gRPC connections to build the underlying service. This limited the types of demos that could be created—building simple web pages, for instance, wasn't feasible.

Easier API authentication had to be set up for the Postman API Network. The base URL of Momento's API is pasted in, followed by a step-by-step guide on obtaining an API key, and then the API key is automatically pasted in the right place. Easy-auth has drastically reduced the number of authentication issues users have.

Momento is exploring the Model Context Protocol (MCP) and the integrated MCP support provided in Postman. With MCP, it is possible to standardize how AI models connect to data sources and tools for a streamlined workflow.
