Robert Buchanan is a seasoned software craftsman with two decades of diverse experience in the IT industry. His journey began as a system administrator during the early days of DevOps, and has since evolved to include roles as Engineering Manager, Staff Engineer, Solutions Architect and Enterprise Architect. Passionate about APIs, Robert believes they are the backbone of modern connectivity. He emphasizes the importance of designing high-quality APIs with empathy, ensuring they resonate in appearance, functionality, and user experience. Additionally, Robert places a strong focus on API security, recognizing that APIs pose significant attack vectors.
